Adeyinka O. Ogunlegan presently serves as Vice President of Government Affairs & Policy at EducationSuperHighway, a national nonprofit with the mission to close the digital divide for the 17 million households that have access to the Internet but cannot afford to connect. As a member of the senior leadership team, Adeyinka is responsible for developing the EducationSuperHighway’s policy positions and leading a team that drives the organization’s advocacy strategy at the state and federal level.
Prior to joining Education SuperHighway, Adeyinka spent several years at Comcast where she negotiated multi-million-dollar franchise agreements, led local legislative advocacy initiatives, managed relationships with elected officials, and built partnerships with community organizations to close the digital divide.
Adeyinka is also an attorney and previously held the position of Vice President of Public Policy and Outreach at Chesapeake Public Strategies, a government and public affairs firm, where she led the legislative and community outreach group. Her team developed and executed award-winning outreach campaigns for complex land use and regulatory issues throughout the Washington Metro Area.
As a first generation American, Adeyinka is passionate about community service and civic engagement. Her community involvement includes membership in the Junior League of Washington and previous service on the Montgomery County Cable and Communications Advisory Committee, the Volunteers of America-Chesapeake’s Human Rights Committee, Prince George’s County Social Innovation Fund, and the D.C.-Baltimore Chapter of Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT). She also served as Chair of the Prince George’s Chamber of Commerce’s Legislative Action Committee, which shaped the Chamber’s policy positions on state and local legislation, as well as Board President of The Arc Prince George’s County. Adeyinka has also been named to Lawyers of Color’s Top Lobbyist and Influencers List.
She earned a Juris Doctor degree from Howard University School of Law and received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgetown University. She presently resides in Prince George’s County with her family.
